Although it was more primitive than camping in more recent times it was of similar importance to have lanterns then as it is now. Back then the Coleman lantern was the only one that was available therefore naturally, it was actually the lantern of choice.

Now when you go hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, sailing, swimming, four-wheeling, relaxing, tailgating, lanterns are just as crucial. Being in the out of doors has just as much to offer, and Coleman lanterns have everything you need to actually help you get out there.
